Recent gigs:

St Ives September Festival.

Supporting Edward II at the Guildhall, we played to a very enthusiastic crowd who were definitely up for a good time, and a good dance too and EII were fab! Looking forward to headlining next year maybe. ;^D

Port Isaac festival.
We were made so welcome at Port Isaac's festival on the 23rd of May and played to a very warm and apriciative audeince. A few familiar faces came over from Truo's Salsa scene to lend a hand on the dance floor. The whole event had a great atmoshpere.

Groove Lounge, Valentine's Night
We played to a packed house with Marc Hadley standing in for Hannah on Alto Sax while she has a break to have a baby! A great audience, loads of dancing and excellent grooves going on in the cellar. A perfect night of Latino Love.

'Roots & Rhythms' in aid of Survival International. Kabasa! played gratis for this charity benefit launch party at the Arts Club in Penzance. Roots & Rhythms will be getting together monthly for global grooving, and have a live evening every 1/4.

Miss Peapods, Penryn
A first time for us over at Peapods and a chance to introduce some new material - and man are we looking forward to going back this summer for some more! A great atmosphere and a really enthusiastic crowd of groovers.

Groove Lounge, Penzance Arts Club.
Mr Richard Ballinger invited us down to play a live set in the main lounge while he and guest DJs laid down a select mix of Funk, Soul, Latin and Eclectic beats in the cellar. It was a top night with massive attendance and a really enthusiastic crowd. We loved it and we'll be back there real soon!

Salsa Salamanca - L2 club, Truro.
having played at L2 as part of Truro Live Music Week earlier in 08, we returned by popular demand for their Christmas party. The event was very well attended, we thoroughly enjoyed it and got loads of great comments from the dancers. Check out Salsa Salamanca for more info on their regular Salsa nights in Truro.

The Sandsifter Salsa Beachparty, Godrevy
was a great end to a fantatic week of salsa events organised by Hot Step. The evening featured some excellent dance tuition, choice salsa tunes and 2 sets of live music from us. For more info on Hot Step visit hotstepsalsa.co.uk

Holifair - Gweek.
Wasn't the weather terrible! But it did nothing to dampen the spirits of the huge numbers of people who braved the elements.

Jazz Noir, Arts Club Penzance.
What a hot night! We had a fantastic time playing to a packed crowd on a sultry summer night. The evening kicked off with dancing to our mix of hot Salsa tunes, followed by two 1 hour sets. We then slid effortlessly into our mix of top eclectic, funky latin grooves keeping the dance floor happening til midnight. In the words of organiser Mark Hadley "you guys kicked ass tonight!"
